ISSUES

SAVING PARKS & PLACES

As a parent of three youth-sport-playing and animal-loving children and two open-spaces-loving dogs, and as a truly terrible golfer, I've spent *A LOT* of time in our county parks, on the Country Grounds in Wauwatosa and at the Milwaukee County Zoo. These spaces are sacred to me and my family. I will do alI I can to protect and enhance our natural spaces and special places.

We got to the zoo early this day so we could feed the giraffes. What a cool experience!

GROWING OUR COUNTY

Attracting and retaining individuals, families and businesses to our county is essential. A stable and growing population enables our county and our communities to provide services and offer amenities. We need to promote smart, strategic growth in places that are zoned and ideal for expansion, always aiming to be sound stewards of our limited financial and natural resources.

SERVING YOU

To me, being a good County Supervisor means being a good listener. I want to hear your ideas to improve the county, too. If there's a tree branch growing in front of a stop sign, a dangerous pothole on a trail, an issue with a bus route, and more, I want to help you.

FIGHTING FOR A FAIR DEAL

Milwaukee County's ability to generate revenue is limited by state laws. This leads to two problems: a lack of adequate funding for operations and an inability to fund urgently needed repairs to crumbling infrastructure and invest in the future. That's why I'll work to build support for the Fair Deal for Milwaukee County.

FIGHTING FOR A FAIR SHARE

I will vigorously advocate for funding to support county programs and projects in Wauwatosa and Milwaukee to life.

The Life Sciences District plan in Wauwatosa aims to create jobs, protect the environment and promote social equity.

BRINGING OUR KIDS HOME

For years, kids from our area have been sent many hours away from their families to juvenile detention centers across the state. I will work to close Lincoln Hills and Copper Lake, and bring these children closer to home, in facilities including the Vel R. Phillips Youth and Family Justice Center in Wauwatosa.

I got to give a bus tour of Wauwatosa to new Wauwatosa School District staff. Welcome to Tosa!

BRINGING KIDS TO SCHOOL

Many kids ride the Milwaukee County Transit System to get to school, get back home, and commute to where they need to be after school. I will work to protect bus routes for these students and families who depend on these routes.
